Naxalites!

Our P.M. Dr.Manmohan Singh has categorized that Naxalism is most dangerous terrorism in India. He has also declared the govt.'s decision to form a special task force to quell the menace. The Home Minister held a different view. The New Indian Express has published an Editorial mentioning that Naxalbari movement of 1967, found by Charu Mazumdar has spread and did not vanish. I disagree with these view points. That Naxalbari movement found by Charu Mazumdar had a strong political views and philosophy. It organized people on the following slogans: 1. Against never ending Police atrocities and excesses. 2. Against violence by State without minding human rights that killed the poor and helped the rich. 3. Against ruthless money lenders who sucked the blood of poor rural agriculturists. 4. Against (all sorts of) exploitation of tribals. 5. Against usurping of tribal lands. 6. Against poverty and the extrvaganza of the rich. 7. Against the religious pundits and cheaters. But they had also one bad policy with them. They declared persons with Class enemy's blood stains could be a Communist!

After the withering of Communism throught the universe and due to several corrupt practices and petty leadership jealousies and quarrels creeping in persons working with some sort of philosophy and ideology diminished barring one or two like Gaddar, Vara Vara Rao. They have also become aged and immobile.

With the result the old Naxalbari is dead and gone. Now these so called Naxals are only criminals devoid of principles. They are just looting and killing for their own gains and pleasure.
